Good Morning!

It has been a funny old week here in my crochet nook.

I took time out for family and to take some me time too so not much was made this week.

I did make a cardigan and hat using the left over yarn as well as videoed a hat tutorial.

The cardigan pattern I followed my friend Angela's tutorial on YouTube over at My Precious Yarnery.

The hat is going to go towards my hats for the homeless.

Today sharing with you a new crochet wrap I have started and my 2 mosaic blankets I have started which is my challenge for this year as I haven't made mosaic blankets before.

I am using Twister in Aqua for the wrap.

Good Morning

Rick is slowly getting back to normal and walking for longer periods of time. We went for a nice long walk yesterday and then spent the time working around the house and finally getting into my Crochet Nook late Saturday afternoon.

 Good Morning!

Well it has been a long time since I have posted on my blog!

It was a hectic end to the year, Rick went in and had keyhole surgery to remove a lump off one of his kidneys which was so stressful as I couldn't go and visit him due to Covid and I missed him terribly.

He is slowly getting better and taking it a day at a time.

The fibre community are just amazing and supported me through this stressful time, so thank you so much, I just love this community they are so caring and supportive.

Well we are on Podcast #57 and in this weeks video I share what has been happening in my Crochet Nook the previous week, sharing some of my projects and to date I have 6 works in progress, 3 knitting projects and 3 crochet projects.

I was asked to join the Challengers so every last Saturday of the month we come together to share what our challenge/s are for this year and for me it will be 2 mosaic blankets!

Here is a picture of what I am working on a knitted wrap using Bramblewood yarn which are based in my home town.
