 Good Morning!

Today I am sharing my finished knitted projects for November.

Finished my Whitmoor sweater, made 3 pairs of socks this month and knitted a Toft hat!

This is my Stephen West Twist's and Turns MKAL

I used @Botanical Yarn to make the shawl.

Next up is my Whitmoor sweater which I made using Urth Cotton in DK

I bought a hat kit from Toft UK called the Turret hat!

Finished Mosaic Blankets

 Good Morning!

How are you all this cool autumnal morning!

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while but life has been a bit hectic at the moment.

As you know I am part of the challengers and this year my challenge was to make 2 mosaic blankets this year.  In August I finished the Queen Mosaic Afghan by Tinna Thorudottir, and in September I finished the Casablanca Mosiac Afghan too by Tinna also.

Here is the link to her Ravelry page

The first picture is of my Queen Afghan, I used Deramores Studio in Raspberry and Hayfields Baby Blossom in grey with specks of green, white and red.

The next is my Casablanca which again I used Deramores Studio in Turquoise and Oatmeal.

Health Scare

 Hello my Yarny Friends,

How are you all doing? I hope that all is well and you are having a wonderful weekend.

Well I received a shock this week! On Wednesday, I wasn't feeling all that great but soldiered on and did my Live at 5 pm BST and then my #doingalindainterview at 9 pm BST regardless.

Thursday I still wasn't feeling all that great and got an appointment to see my Doctor, well you could have knocked me over with a feather when she said that she suspected I had had a TIA (Transient Ischaemic Attack) mini stroke!!!! She prescribed medication there and then, referred me to the TIA clinic.

Friday, I got a call from the hospital for an appointment that afternoon, so off I went with my Rick and was shocked when the Consultant told me I had indeed had a mini stroke. I had bloods taken and a Doppler scan of my neck to check the blood vessels where working okay, the good news is that they were. The Consultant then prescribed Aspirin and Statins which I have to take for life now and told me I could drive for 28 days.

I am so truly blessed to have so many of my friends praying for me!

So my advice to any of my friends, if you feel a tingling numbness on the left side of your face, pain in your upper left arm then please go and see the doctor straight away!

Eat healthily, exercise at least 4 to 5 times a week, don't smoke and reduce alcohol intake as you never know it could save your life!

I will leave you with Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
    and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10
no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
11
For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
12
they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14

“Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15
He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
16
With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”
At the end of all my lives and videos I always end with "take care, stay safe but more importantly be kind to you"
I am going to spend the week practicing what I have been preaching!
Love to you all!
